About Me

Hello, I'm Kira [kɑɪɹə]! I'm a teacher's aide, and I have a degree in linguistics. I'm really interested in writing and how people learn languages!

I speak a very small amount of Finnish, and studied abroad there for a month. My experiences there made me really appreciate Finnish education and style, and thus I named my blog "Kira and Book", playing off the fact that my name is similar to the Finnish word kirja.

Besides writing, I'm also really into hockey, mythology/folklore, and musicians like Mitski, Sir Chloe, and Laufey.
